Talent onboarding is a customized 90-day coaching program for high-value new hires or newly-promoted leaders that helps them get up to speed on their role and the organization. Our focus is on optimizing the new executive’s approach with their direct reports and direct boss.
The process starts with a review of the key accountabilities for the job with the executive and their manager to gain agreement on the challenges, needs and expectations for the role.
We also conduct assessments to identify the individual’s key strengths and challenges and help them to think strategically about areas that need to be developed or adapted for this specific role. We then work with the executive to craft an action plan to expedite their successful assimilation into the role.
We facilitate several joint conversations with the newly hired/promoted employee and their manager to build a strong, trust-based foundation for this critical relationship. Throughout this process we serve as both an accountability and thought-partner for the executive.
